Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had tiny rooms where I felt a bit claustrophobic, but overall, it wasn't bad. The illumination was good, but the room size made it impossible to fully open the door due to the double bed blocking it, and the view of a brick wall wasn't great. The room was uncomfortably warm at times, yet my stay was pleasant.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was superb, overlooking both Craven Road and Gloucester Terrace, with Hyde Park and Paddington Station just a 5-minute walk away. However, the rooms were not clean and were very small, making it more suitable for one person than two. The dining experience had some positives with fresh pastries but lacked a real English breakfast option.
The hotel is conveniently located near Paddington Station with good cafes and restaurants around. The rooms were overly small even for a single occupant, with limited space and an obstructed view. However, the location is central with easy access to public transportation, making it a convenient choice for exploring the city.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were always spotless and unusually quiet, which was a great surprise, although being below ground meant a bit of a smoke smell in the morning. The service was top-notch, with staff always willing to help and very friendly. The location was superb, just 200m from Paddington Station and close to Hyde Park and Oxford street. The dining experience, unfortunately, fell a bit short with limited options, but the great steaks made up for it.
The hotel is in a great location, super close to Hyde Park with plenty of restaurants around. The rooms were clean and exactly as expected, meeting our needs well. However, there was a bad smell and some issues with booking in. The breakfast was not good, and the toast didn't toast properly.
The hotel is conveniently located near Paddington Station and Hyde Park, offering great access to attractions. The rooms were clean and spacious, but being placed in a basement with noise disturbances was a downside. The service was extremely unhelpful, especially during breakfast. The dining options were limited with basic choices. The proximity to pubs and restaurants was offset by the discomfort of a basement room. Price could be better for the experience.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were amazingly clean and great value, but very small without windows, suitable only for a short stay. The service was a bit of a letdown with unhelpful receptionists, except for one on the 16th of July who stood out. The location was superb, close to various amenities and transportation options. The dining options were nice but a bit overpriced. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
